As an example, the code “n=$((n+1))” throws the following error: “/tmp/custom.sh: line 8: syntax error: you disabled math support for $((arith)) syntax”. He relied on a arithmetic construct for adding or subtracting 1 from a variable that triggered an error for my version of DD-WRT. I don’t have that problem, since my router only has a 2.4 GHz band. I started with one of the more recent posts, by reardencode, which was targeted at OpenWRT routers (as I remember), and also tried to deal with devices hopping between the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz portions of the router. There are several different bits of code posted across the pages of this thread, intended to solve slightly different problems. So I only have access to the Administrator tab on the GUI to edit and execute my scripts. One of the things that was removed was SSH support. One of the wrinkles I ran into is that the basic (micro) version of DD-WRT has stripped out some important functionality, in order to fit into devices with limited memory. In my case, I have VeraPlus controller and a Linksys WAP54G running DD-WRT v24-sp2 micro (build 14896). So an approach using a DD-WRT router seemed very promising. I’ve been very disappointed in all of the other alternatives for tracking occupancy: geofencing and the Ping Sensor (because they don’t work reliably), and the iPhone Locator (because it drains the battery so quickly). What did you exactly do to resolve this issue?įirst, I wanted to thank everyone who has contributed to this thread. Please help me! I strongly believe i just have a minor setting issue here but i simply can't figure out what might be the problem.I have the same problem you had with the url link executes fine in the browser but does not seem to execute in the command line and I do not see any errors in the telnet session. I am able to establish a RDP session from within my LAN by dialing my dyndns account, but not from the internet (I am using a Singtel 3G Modem). Every SSH setting under "Services-Services" and "Administration-Managment" is activated and i kept the standard ports for troubleshooting. Then i tried to SSH into the Router from extern. I have portforwarded everything but no luck. I am using dyndns and the Server setup is okay, since it was working before the update.
